He does not know why in TurboTax Business 2023 one cannot do that. He said he would try to find out why (is it a bug or is it a deliberate software change – which would be bizarre for Intuit to do the latter), and would get back to me. You would think that the option, “Yes.  Let’s import from Quickbooks to save time” would be the option to select. While QuickBooks Online (QBO) and TurboTax Online are both Intuit products, as of the latest updates, there’s no feature to import data from QBO to TurboTax Online, @FedUpWithInntuit. Restore my QB2020 data file, just in case that temporary QB Enterprise presence corrupted it somehow.

How do I transfer last year’s tax info from TurboTax CD/Download to TurboTax Online?

I contacted TurboTax support, and spoke with Ken.  Ken took ownership of the issue. He did note that it wouldn’t make sense for Intuit to suddenly this year prevent TurboTax users from searching for, selecting, and importing their company’s Quickbooks data.
